SERIES: PSCX 1-140

Comments: All cars are black with red rotary ends. These are first-generation rotary dump gondolas and this series holds the distinction of being the longest operating utility-owned coal cars in the state. The series was disposed of in 2007 after 34 years of service. Cars 137-140 were originally built with double rotary ends but were converted to single rotary end cars sometime later.

SERIES: PSCX 1-140

Comments: PSCX 31 is seen here in original 1973 paint - with lettering almost completely obliterated. Most cars in this series had their reporting marks and numbers re-stencilled in the 1990s. By the 2000s, few cars remained with their original stencilling.
